Redesigned Playlist Editing View and Other Improvements

We have released a major update to playlist and channel management in SeeSignage. The main focus of this update is the redesigned playlist editing view, along with improvements to channel management, scheduling, analytics, and change management in multi-user environments.

Together, these improvements make content management clearer, faster, and more reliable.

Redesigned Playlist Editing View

The playlist editing view has been redesigned to provide a better user experience. The new interface makes it easier to manage larger playlists and speeds up everyday work.

Improvements include:

• Clearer interface and improved workflow
• Redesigned playlist item cards that make key information easier to find
• Better mobile usability
• More accurate loading animations while playlists are loading
• Updated product tours for new users

Playlist editing is now organized into clear tabs. This makes different settings easier to find and keeps the editor easier to understand, even when working with larger content setups.

The view now includes dedicated tabs for:

• Content
• Playlist Settings
• Scheduling and Tags
• Analytics

Proof of Play Analytics

A new Analytics tab has been added to playlists, allowing you to view Proof of Play data directly from the playlist editing view. This feature is available in environments where Proof of Play has been enabled.

Improved Change Management

SeeSignage now detects more clearly when another user has made changes to the same playlist.

When another user updates a playlist, you will receive a notification and can decide whether to load the latest changes or continue with your current version. This helps reduce the risk of overlapping edits and keeps users better informed about changes made by others.

Improvements include:

• Notification when another user updates the same playlist
• Option to load the latest changes with one click
• Automatic playlist list refresh when a new playlist is created
• Better change detection in playlist and channel management

Other Improvements and Fixes

Several additional improvements have been made to playlist and channel management to improve usability, reliability, and overall workflow.

• Warning for unsaved changes when switching tabs
• Knowledge Base link added to the Support page
• Fixes for playlist duration updates
• Improved validation for recurring scheduling rules and other fields
• Fixes to the channel scheduling form
• Improvements to product tours
• Fixes related to change management in playlists and channels
